Leo Ciaramitaro brings over 30 years of professional performance and teaching experience to his work as a drummer and educator of American roots-based music. A native of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Leo holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music from Longy Conservatory. Known for his dedication to music theory, history, and craft, Leo has performed throughout New England and toured nationally with Broadway productions of Footloose, Grease, and Kiss Me Kate. He studied for a decade under Boston jazz luminary Bob Gullotti, further enriching his deep-rooted passion for rhythm, collaboration, and the art of drumming.
Leo aims to inspire and educate musicians through dynamic drumming instruction grounded in American musical traditions. He is committed to fostering a vibrant community where students and artists can collaborate, grow, and share their passion for rhythm. Through personalized lessons, live shows and Summit Soundworks, Leo cultivates each individual's unique musical voice, contributing to the rich tapestry of our shared musical heritage.
